Leonel (Leo) Escobar
Service Provider
Leo has provided substance abuse counseling to the Los Angeles community for years. He has a certificate of completion in facilitating alcohol and drug abuse counseling classes. In his time off, Leo enjoys to spend time with friends and family.
Leo believes that no one is irredeemable, as he discovered completing his studies of addiction. He believes that everyone can stand a chance at a healthier quality of life with the right support. But it starts with oneself.
“They say that death is not the greatest loss. It is what dies in us while we are still alive that is the greatest loss. From losing one’s value system, morals, dignity, and integrity, to a life-long battle with feelings of guilt, shame, fear, and hopelessness. It is an arduous task to deal with life head-on on its own terms. Let alone when one actively put themselves in a vicious cycle of drug abuse, denial, and resistance. Through my own recovery and the rediscovery of the goodness within me, today I am committed in assisting others on their own path toward redemption. Mindfully and compassionately, I am here to humbly serve you!” – Leo
